Ken has had a long and successful career in Advertising and Marketing. Before he started Standard Marketing in 1999 he worked in newspaper, TV, magazines, direct mail and billboards for 20 years handling customers such as Eaton's, The Bay, and Army and Navy Department Stores. He published the Vancouver Island Tourist Guide magazine for the Vancouver Island Tourist Bureau in conjunction with the Government of BC. He set up and managed the in-house advertising agency for a large Vancouver retailer which had the highest level of Accreditation with the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. Ken was attracted to Internet Marketing because it's about getting customers to come to you at the exact moment they're ready to buy. Ken is Qualified in Google Analytics.

Daniela is even more passionate about the internet than your average Generation Y member. She has been using the web strategically to develop communication campaigns since her college years, where she produced video reports of social work done throughout Central America, managed several e-mail marketing campaigns and designed an online publication for two years. Daniela has an academic background in Strategic Communication and Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration. In her free time, Daniela spends a little too much time on social networks and navigates the streets in search of quirky coffee mugs. Daniela is Qualified in Google Analytics.

Angus was a Construction Project Administrator and Qualified Building Safety Engineer for one of the top three construction companies in the world for more than 10 years in Hong Kong. After moving to British Columbia he gained many years valuable management experience providing service to local and US businesses in marketing, advertising, office administration, and public health care regulation. He has been an active volunteer in a number of local non-profit organizations in event planning, fund raising and desktop publishing since the year 2000. Angus is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and is a skilled photographer.

Walter comes from a designer’s world with 10 years studying traditional design at a European school and 10 years in website and graphic design in Canada. In his youth Walter trained in Multimedia and studied architecture which gave him an understanding of design in its many applications. His love for typography and logo design adds to his mature and balanced design style. Walter is a true professional, keeping up-to-date with changes and trends in the design world that help us improve service to our clients, and constantly bringing an awareness to our marketing meetings of how design affects our clients' bottom line.

Diane was raised in Taiwan where she worked in high level journalism positions for many years. She has traveled extensively in China, Asia, and around the world, and has current clients in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vancouver and other world centers. Diane is a respected business writer with a deep understanding of the Chinese political and business culture. As well she keeps up-to-date with the constant changes in current usage of the Chinese language in different parts of the world, and how that affects her translations. She is a student of ancient Chinese wisdom and loves the Chinese culture. It has been said that Diane writes beautiful Chinese.

Andrew was born and raised in Australia where he worked developing software and web applications for a variety of companies, including one of Australia's largest utility providers. After moving to Canada he gained experience in research and development, as well as working in a startup environment. Andrew keeps up-to-date on the improvements in coding for our clients' websites that will increase their rankings. Andrew is also good at creating custom code that can do just about anything you can imagine for either the front end or back end of websites.
